Pasture down the bottom of the land, below the trees and running down to the creek boundary. There are two guava trees growing on the right of photo. The clump of dark trees in the middle centre of the photo are on our south-west boundary corner. The swamp is over the rise in the centre of the photo. The trees to the left are growing on the steep part of the land. They are a mixture of species, but mostly Angico.

Telephoto showing house, middle pasture, part of northern fenceline (trees in a line) and a bit of the lower pasture. You can see where the big angico fell down in the angico forest (center right of photo). That tree used to be a favourite tree for sagui (very small monkeys). These sagui live in the forest down by the swamp most of the time and are very hard to see. There are other monkeys living in the big forest on our neighbour's land to the east and south of our land. We hear them sometimes but have never seen them. These are called bugil monkeys.
Looking from middle pasture to lower pasture over the angico forest where the big angico fell down recently (and where I have now planted a fruit tree (Sapoite) which the bats and sagui will love (and we will too if we get to eat the fruit before they do).
